Buttered Shrimp

Buttered Shrimp

1/2 kg shrimp
1 bulb galic - minced
100g butter
1cup clear soda (7-Up)
40g grated cheese
1 tbsp olive oil
salt
pepper


1. Melt butter on a heated olive oil. Add garlic. DO NOT BROWN the garlic, just when it releases it's aroma, add the shrimp.

2. Season with salt and pepper. Cook shrimp until it changes color.

3. Add soda. This will add sweetness to the shrimp. You may want to add gradually if you don't like it too sweet.

4. Add grated cheese. Simmer for 3 minutes or until cheese melts if you use "quickmelt" type cheese.

5. serve and enjoy ^.^
